The Story So Far...

My name is Scott Walker, and I'm a graphic artist and entrepreneur living life in beautiful Wasilla, Alaska.

In 2017, I was on a quest to find high-quality beard care products that could help fill in my ridiculously patchy Irish beard. Like any modern-day consumer, I turned to Amazon in search of beard growth oils, hydrating balms, butters, tinctures—just about anything under the sun—to remedy my beard's lackluster appearance.

After months of buying terrible products, all boasting false claims like "This product will make your beard grow like never before!" and being disappointed time and time again, I decided to combine my experience in graphic design and branding with my newfound knowledge of what definitely doesn't work in beard care. I set out to build a brand that offered something no one else was.

In March of 2018, Anointed AK was born with a focus on marrying premium ingredients with wild, out-of-the-box scent profiles previously unseen in the world of beard care. Products like our Fruit Loops beard oil sold like hotcakes, and within months of conception, a slew of poor imitations began flooding the market. It turns out there's a great deal of fellow beardos who don’t just want to smell like sandalwood!

In the six years since our inception, one thing has remained perfectly clear: Beard care shouldn't be boring. When it comes to men's grooming products, many brands like to stick within certain boundaries; our goal as a brand is to push the envelope and offer you high-quality beard grooming products that are as creative and unique as you are.

This brand is built on creativity, quality, and out-of-the-box thinking—a brand for artists, writers, musicians, and critical thinkers who aren't afraid to break free of the mold of normality and take a walk on the wild side. All of our products are handcrafted right here in Wasilla, Alaska. We use only the highest quality ingredients to craft our beard oils and balms, ensuring that your glorious facial mane is softer, stronger, and healthier than ever before.

Although the brand has grown from the early days of fulfilling orders from a small corner of our den, the process has remained the same. Every product that leaves this shop is small-batch handcrafted and bottled by hand, one by one. No fancy machinery, no team of advertisers or social media managers, no old dusty products taking up shelf space in a warehouse somewhere. Just high-quality, artisanal beard care products as weird and wild as the folks who enjoy them.
